About the team
The Treasury & Financial accounts (TFA) team is responsible for a banking-as-service platform that lets platforms embed powerful financial account features into their product and launch quickly. The team delivers the infrastructure, user facing features and APIs needed to create and manage financial accounts, enable money movement, and drive spend through card issuance. This is a great opportunity to help build Stripe’s newest business in the region.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
As a Product Manager in TFA, you’ll be responsible for leading Stripe’s EU-wide strategy for treasury and financial accounts, defining the user journey, refining the product in partnership with engineering & partnerships, and driving top line growth. This is a critical, high visibility role. You will spend significant time with senior customer stakeholders to discuss roadmap strategy, external developers understanding their current pain points and needs, eng leaders to improve our core systems, and Stripe’s sales leadership to help win new business on Stripe.
You are expected to:
- Deeply understand customer needs by spending time with customers, sales, and support
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for Stripe Treasury in EU
- Own decisions directly impacting the topline growth of Stripe’s embedded finance business
- Pitch senior leadership from strategic customers/prospects on the narrative for our embedded finance roadmap to win and grow their business on Stripe

Minimum requirements
- 6+ years relevant product management experience
- Strong technical skills e.g., ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems, build a robust integration with the Stripe API, make meaningful contributions to high-stakes discussions on API design, data modeling and software architecture
- Strong customer empathy across different segments and personas: from startups to large enterprises, across both engineering and finance functions
- Strong product sense: ability to understand user needs in-depth and build delightful product experiences to solve them and make our users successful
- Strong communication skills: ability to synthesize complex discussions, write succinctly and present to senior stakeholders both within and outside Stripe
Preferred qualifications
- APIs, SaaS products experience
- Software engineering experience
- Payments, banking or card issuance experience
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €105,600 - €158,400. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
