Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Partner Marketing team extends Stripe’s marketing reach to customers and prospects by educating, engaging and enabling partners, globally, to build market awareness and generate demand for their Stripe solutions and services. We recruit prospective partners and support the on-boarding and growth of existing partners as they build, launch, market, and scale business through the Stripe Partner Ecosystem and the Stripe platform. We partner closely with our global partnerships, GTM partners, marketing, and product teams and serve many different partner types.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for an experienced, creative, results-oriented marketer to join our Global Partner Marketing team. Our mission is to create an outstanding Stripe experience for our partners, supporting them with the right engagement, resources, and incentives as they start, run and scale their business with us. The Platform Partner Marketing Manager will work directly with some of our most strategic SaaS platform partners to understand our joint users, build joint marketing plans, execute co-marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and activation, and ultimately help partners grow their business with Stripe.

Responsibilities

  • Define annual joint marketing strategies, objectives, and measures of success with a portfolio of our top SaaS platform partners
  • Build joint messaging and produce bespoke co-marketing activations with your portfolio of partners
  • Execute co-marketing plans and activities (e.g. joint email campaigns, co-branded webinars etc.) with partners to drive scaled acquisition of new users and product upsell through partners, and create sales pipeline with and through partners
  • Integrate partners into Stripe-led campaigns by collaborating with cross-functional marketing teams such as Campaign Marketing, Regional Marketing, and Demand Generation
  • Administer and optimize market development funds with each partner to drive ROI
  • Track and measure performance of co-marketing activities and share learnings with the rest of the team to identify the most impactful levers to drive customer acquisition and activation through platform partners
  • Work closely with the Platform Sales team to jointly increase Stripe adoption via your portfolio of partners and their satisfaction with the Stripe platform

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience
  • Experience working as part of a global marketing team with execution across different regions
  • Proven ability to influence and guide the partner’s marketing leadership team to align on objectives and deliver against joint marketing priorities and plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate proven leadership capabilities and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience shaping joint messaging with partners
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring and improving the ROI of marketing investments through an indirect business model leveraging partners
  • Deep understanding of the user journey through and with a partner channel and funnel, sales cycle and product lifecycle and their respective requirements on the partner marketing organization to drive attach, growth and revenue
  • Superb organization and project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects at once; you’re a master juggler and don’t let it get the best of you
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a highly dynamic, high-growth tech company
  • Experience in the payments, financial technology, or adjacent industries or marketing FinTech solutions
  • Experience with demand generation marketing or product marketing
  • Experience working closely with partners to build joint marketing plans and execute marketing programs and campaigns that drive new customer acquisition and pipeline generation outcomes
