Internship with Product Design team

Our team is looking for a Product Designer to join our internship program to help build and scale Rho’s commercial banking technology. We are looking for a highly curious and proactive individual who cares deeply about design.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to join a US-based tech startup company that has a global presence, ambitious business goals and mission, and an action-driven culture. In this role, you will work directly with the Product Design team. The team runs research and translates insights into high-quality products our clients love.

Responsibilities

• Execute on a given problem with support from the lead.
• Collaborate with team members in an iterative, transparent, and feedback-driven process.
• Help test and validate solutions.
• Help ensure design implementation when working with engineers.

Qualifications

• Design
• Strong foundation in UI (interaction, visual) and solid understanding of UX practices (user research, analysis, information architecture, wireframing).
• A portfolio demonstrating high attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Understanding responsive web, as well as native mobile platforms.
• Personal
• Ability to clearly express ideas verbally, in writing, and through prototyping.
• Ability to both provide and receive design criticism constructively, and appreciation for its importance within the design process.
• Proactive, highly curious individual.
• Technical
• High proficiency working in Figma and prototyping methods.
• Comfortable talking about CSS, HTML, JS.
