About the Role

As Little Spoon’s , you will have the opportunity to shape business strategy through customer insights, create foundational reporting, and scale the data and analytics capabilities of the business. With your technical skill set and business acumen, you will play an integral role in empowering the company with data-driven decision-making. This role will encompass a wide breadth of responsibilities, expand your analytical and strategic thinking, and allow you to gain experience in a fast-growing startup.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize proprietary data and third-party sources to understand patterns of customer behavior, identify business trends, and size strategic opportunities
  • Be a champion of data-driven decision-making, working with all departments to level up our suite of analytical tools, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses
  • Serve as the voice of data and analytics in meetings and on key initiatives, from helping ideate the strategic approach to post-release monitoring
  • Mentor team members by developing their technical skills and sharpening their business acumen
  • Distill complex data and concepts into clear, compelling presentations, sharing results to all levels of the organization
  • Be a thought-leader in the company by establishing meaningful relationships, demonstrating technical expertise, and understanding the customer experience
  • Partner with the engineering team to create the data roadmap and implement data architecture initiatives

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in an analytics role at a top-tier consulting firm and/or high-growth start up
  • Advanced experience utilizing data visualization tools and writing complex queries in SQL
  • Self-starter that thrives in an unstructured and fast-moving environment
  • Intellectually curious, strategic thinker who enjoys creative problem solving
  • Team player who loves collaborating with people and is willing to take on additional responsibility where necessary
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to effectively synthesize complex findings into action-oriented insights for all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable creating analyses in Excel and Google Sheets
