Jackpocket is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and more, via their smartphones. We're creating a more convenient, fun, and responsible way to play the lottery by modernizing the $300B global lottery market with a mobile platform that everyone, including grandma, can feel good about.

As a key member of the Product team, you will play an integral role in the continued development of Jackpocket's offerings, including its consumer-facing app as well as the Operations platforms, technology, and processes that support it. You will work closely with a dedicated team of engineers, lead agile ceremonies, and collaborate across functions to identify meaningful insights, prioritize development roadmaps, and implement impactful product enhancements to drive positive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product specs, high-level requirement documents, and ideate innovative ways to unlock business value for Operations users
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Product and Operations workflow, and create training documents for key stakeholders
  • Play an active role in sprint planning, prioritization, and backlog grooming
  • Travel to multiple Operations fulfillment centers to better understand how the Operations process works and how to improve our internal user experience
  • Plan and execute tech expansion plan for launches of new games and new jurisdictions
  • Partner closely with Operations and Engineering teams on on-call initiatives
  • Manage feature delivery and monitor product performance to ensure features are released properly, on schedule, and drive business outcomes
  • Collect user feedback and conduct user research for internal and external customers to identify meaningful insights to drive new solutions and product improvements
  • Partner with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Data throughout the product delivery lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Product experience - B2B or B2B2C experience
  • Experience using JIRA and managing and prioritizing a product backlog
  • Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical specs, product requirements, and project-related documentation. Experience using Productboard and/or Notion a plus
  • Experience working with analytics and ability to draw meaningful insights from quantitative analysis and user feedback and translating into executable initiatives
  • Self-starter with a bias for action; works well in fast-paced environments
  • Proven ability to collaborate with highly technical stakeholders

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000
