Overview
GRIN is seeking an ambitious, organized, and proactive Senior IT Support Specialist.
The ideal candidate will bring a rich skill set in multiple IT disciplines and possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively within our team. This role will drive a culture of continual process improvement and ensure that GRIN's end-users receive exceptional service and technical assistance. You will be instrumental on the front line in developing and executing IT strategies to support our "Remote First" work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and empathetically to user inquiries and requests for assistance.
- Manage IT inventory and asset tracking.
- Provision and maintain local and SaaS-based user accounts including but not limited to Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- SaaS Application Management.
- Troubleshoot network and various technical issues including providing end-user support.
- Help develop and enforce basic IT SOPs and Security Policies and ensure compliance with SOC2.
- Manage pre-hire, onboarding and offboarding and provide a best-in-class experience.
- Support and ensure compliance to policies and key controls such as SOC2.
- Document processes and resolutions for issues in a knowledge base.
- Conduct initial training sessions with new employees to explain our IT systems and software applications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of professional IT support experience is required
- You are able to effectively communicate and empathize with employees, while guiding them to positive solutions.
- A strong understanding of remote computer management and monitoring (primarily MacOS, some Windows/PC).
- Experience with Google Workspace and extensive SaaS tech stacks.
- Comfortable working with minimal guidance.
Nice-to-have:
- Startup experience
- Familiarity with SOC2 and SOC2 audits
- Workato or workflow experience
- ITIL Certification
- Okta Certification
- MDM Experience (Kandji preferred)
